“Heart of the sea”
This super production from the famous director,Ron Howard, that will have its world debute on the 13th March 2015 , was filmed mainly in La Gomera and Lanzarote.
On the island of Lanzarote the necessary infrastructure was contracted for footage at sea, it was our company Lanzarote Yacht Charter, due to the experience we have working with producers. With a total o eight RIB`s , we were able to film in waters of the Bocaina (body of sea that separates Lanzarote from Fuerteventura) and also filming of high seas at the village of El Golfo ( Demanding and quite dangerous footage).
With a two hundred plus crew on the Island for the shooting of the film along with actors such as Chris Hemsworth (Thor) under the direction of Ron Howard. It was a gratifying experience in which we feel proud on being such an important part of the film crew.
