FISHING WORLD RECORDS ABOARD THE AURAMARINA
lanzarote Yacht Charter’s sports fishing vessel the AuraMarina has already acheived two fishing world records that have been certified by the IGFA (International Game Fish Association), the first record is of the Snapper species ,dentex dentex ,that was caught by Jorge Fdez de Pinedo and is the currant Small-fry world record. The second record is of the grouper species ,mycteroperca fusca, that was caught by an honorable client of the company, Mr Mikel Cardoso.

Lanzarote Yacht Charter knows that there are still many World Records to achieve in the waters that they fish in and they encourage anglers to come and fish with them and try to become a record holder.
Lanzarote Yacht Charter is the main sponsor of the biggest jigging contest and event held in Europe , the “Rubiconfishing Jigging Record” which takes place end of November-start of December. Its a contest that targets world records such as the Greater Amberjack , Dusky Grouper, Barracuda ect. The First edition ,the organization offered a new Apartment as first prize.
